The Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Conducting daily rounds to observe each resident’s physical and emotional status.
- Medication administration and accurate documentation.
- Monitoring care provided by unlicensed staff to ensure quality standards.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
Qualifications (We Welcome New Grads!):
- Current LVN / LPN licensure to practice in the state.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer use, or willingness to learn.
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
- Behavioral care or memory care experience.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
