A successful multi-location automotive dealership group in the Charlotte area is seeking a Corporate Parts Director to lead, strengthen, and drive performance across our Parts operations.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished automotive Parts professional who understands how to develop strong managers, improve profitability, control inventory, and create consistent processes across multiple dealerships. You'll work closely with dealership leadership and Parts Managers to identify opportunities, solve operational challenges, and help each location perform at a higher level.

What You'll Lead:
-
Provide leadership and operational oversight to Parts Managers and departments across multiple dealership locations

Monitor and improve parts gross profit, sales, inventory turns, obsolescence, fill rates, wholesale performance, and other key department KPIs

Coach and develop Parts Managers while establishing clear performance expectations

Develop consistent processes and best practices across all locations

Analyze inventory levels and purchasing practices to improve availability while reducing excess and obsolete inventory

Identify opportunities to increase retail, internal, service, and wholesale parts sales

Partner with General Managers, Service leadership, and senior management to improve overall dealership performance

Assist with staffing, training, development, and retention within Parts operations

Ensure manufacturer programs, policies, and inventory requirements are effectively managed

Develop action plans and provide hands-on support to locations needing improvement
What We're Looking For:
Automotive dealership Parts management experience required-
Proven success managing a profitable, high-performing dealership Parts department

Multi-store, Corporate Parts, Parts Director, or senior Parts leadership experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of dealership Parts financials, inventory management, wholesale operations, and key performance indicators

Proven ability to coach managers and improve department performance

Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience with dealership management systems and manufacturer Parts programs

Ability to travel between dealership locations as needed
