Beef Jerky Company seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our production team as a Meat Slicer. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and consistency of our premium beef jerky products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high-quality food standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate auto slicing machine to slice meat into precise cuts according to company specifications.
- Operate and maintain auto slicing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect meat for quality and ensure all cuts meet production standards.
- Monitor inventory of raw meat and notify management of supply needs.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of slicing equipment and tools.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience in food production or meat slicing (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a cold environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
