Job Summary
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Technician/Care Giver working. Duties
- Deliver personalized resident care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Monitor vital signs and observe resident conditions to ensure safety and well-being.
- Assist with Administration of medication
- Use electronic health record (ALIS) systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure clarity of care plans and progress updates.
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home health care is highly preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like ALIS for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassion and patience for working with diverse populations including seniors and those requiring hospice or memory care.
- Valid certifications in CPR/First Aid are preferred;
