Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily EEG department operations and workflow
- Support and guide EEG staff while maintaining quality standards
- Assist with patient monitoring and seizure recognition
- Ensure compliance with NAEC standards and EMU safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams
- Help maintain accurate documentation and department organization
- Promote patient safety and excellent patient experiences
Qualifications
- Registered EEG Technologist OR Neurology RN with epilepsy/ICU experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Neurophysiology
- Seizure recognition
- Antiseizure medications
- Proven organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with NAEC standards and EMU safety protocols preferred
