Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and growth of a staffing branch, with a strong emphasis on staffing industry experience, client account management, business development, recruiting, and contingent workforce management.The ideal candidate will have a proven background working for a staffing, recruiting, temporary placement, or workforce solutions company and understand the fast-paced nature of managing both client relationships and a large contingent workforce. This individual will be responsible for growing existing accounts, developing new business, recruiting and retaining talent, and ensuring high-quality service to both clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, grow, and retain existing staffing and client accounts while identifying opportunities for additional placements and services.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, hiring managers, and key decision-makers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding staffing needs, employee performance, attendance, and workforce concerns.
- Drive the growth and retention of temporary, contract, and contingent staffing placements.
- Oversee recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, screening, onboarding, and placement of qualified candidates.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated client staffing needs.
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, retention, and overall workforce satisfaction.
- Address staffing challenges, employee issues, and client concerns quickly and professionally.
- Partner with clients to understand changing workforce needs and provide effective staffing solutions.
- Lead, coach, and support branch staff in achieving recruiting, sales, account management, and operational goals.
- Assist with managing and maintaining accurate employee and client information within the staffing database/ATS.
- Monitor branch performance metrics, staffing activity, fill rates, retention, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure consistent follow-up with both clients and placed employees to maintain strong relationships and improve retention.
- Support overall branch profitability and growth through effective account management, recruiting, and workforce planning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the staffing, recruiting, temporary employment, or workforce solutions industry strongly preferred/required.
- Experience managing staffing accounts and contingent/temporary employees.
- Proven ability to grow existing staffing accounts and develop new client relationships.
- Experience with recruiting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee retention.
- Strong understanding of staffing operations, including job orders, placements, attendance, employee relations, and client service.
- Strong sales, account management, and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and staffing priorities in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Strong computer skills and experience with staffing software, ATS, CRM, or employee databases preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
