Plant Health Care (PHC) Operations:
AssessDiagnose: Evaluate trees and shrubs on client properties to identify pest infestations, diseases, and nutritional deficiencies.
TreatProtect: Safely mix, handle, and apply targeted fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides using specialized spray and soil-injection equipment.
Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, clean, and maintain all PHC tanks, pumps, hoses, and application gear.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all EPA, state, and local regulations regarding chemical applications and safety protocols.
Record Keeping: Accurately document daily treatments, product usage, and field observations.
Tree CareGround Operations:
Site Management: Ensure safe drop zones for climbing crew members, assist with traffic control, and protect public safety.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy tree care equipment, including gas-powered chainsaws, pole saws, and wood chippers.
LogisticsCleanup: Assist with daily vehicle preparation, perform ground-level pruning, and rigorously clean up the job site by loading trucks and feeding brush into chippers.
Customer Experience: Communicate professionally with homeowners, listen for upselling opportunities to pass to the crew leader, and build trusting client relationships.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in tree care operations or landscaping.
Licensing: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. (Possessing or being willing to obtain a Texas Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator License is a major plus!)
Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Toughness: Ability to regularly lift 25-50+ pounds, maneuver heavy hoses, and work outdoors in varying Texas weather conditions.
Availability: Ability to work 40+ hours per week, with overtime opportunities available.
