Line Cook

Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
Availability: Nights, weekends, and holidays required
Position Summary
Compass Pointe Golf Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining cleanliness, consistency, and food safety standards. Candidates with grill and sauté experience are strongly preferred, and pizza-making experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and chef specifications
- Operate grill and sauté stations efficiently during service
- Assist with pizza preparation and production as needed
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion standards
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Set up and stock workstations before service
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery
- Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Follow all health, safety, and company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of grill and sauté cooking experience required
- Pizza experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
