We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing CNC programs for complex aerospace components, optimizing machining processes, and supporting production in a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering products that meet stringent aerospace quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machining centers using CAM software.
- Develop manufacturing processes for aerospace components from engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, and Production teams to ensure efficient and repeatable machining operations.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and fixturing solutions to maximize productivity and quality.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct program prove-outs, first article inspections, and process validations.
- Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, and process instructions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, quality enhancement, and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and aerospace industry standards.
- Assist in quoting and estimating machining requirements for new projects.
QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, NX CAM, CATIA, Fusion 360, or similar.
- Experience programming 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
- Ability to interpret aerospace engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
- Knowledge of machining aerospace materials, including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and Inconel.
- Understanding of aerospace quality requirements and AS9100 standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience supporting FAA, defense, or space industry programs.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
