Sacramento area wholesale manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and innovative Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain our company's intranet websites and various business applications to support evolving business needs. This role involves taking web-based applications from concept to production—including e-commerce platforms, intranet tools, utility applications, and command-line utilities. We are looking for motivated problem-solvers who thrive in small, collaborative teams and are eager to learn and adopt new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain in-house business applications and intranet websites using ASP.NET (Framework/Core), .NET, Blazor, and MVC.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between third-party software tools and internal systems, as well as integrations across internal software platforms, using RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Build insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases, along with reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Create and maintain clear documentation and processes for the company's web applications.
- Utilize project management tools like ClickUp for task tracking, prioritization, and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET (Core/ modern .NET), C#, Blazor, MVC, XML, JSON, REST APIs, GraphQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Proven track record of developing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs, with full-stack ownership (front-end and back-end) of applications.
- Strong understanding of clean architecture, n-tier application design, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Solid experience with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Google BigQuery, and Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills to report progress, discuss design decisions, and resolve technical issues with stakeholders and team members.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
