This is a very demanding, time-sensitive position. With few exceptions, you must report to work when scheduled. More than one (1) call-out per month, without a viable excuse, will be cause for termination. We deliver during snowy days and need your commitment to help us achieve our delivery objectives.

What Does a Delivery Driver Do?
- Work as a Team to deliver packages.
- Follow all driving rules and safety practices...NON NEGOTIABLE.
- Deliver when it snows...if you DO NOT like driving when it snows, then this job is not for you.
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver packages.
- Load packages onto cargo vans according to company's specifications.
- Deliver packages to customers (residential, apartments and commercial businesses) in a company owned cargo van.
- No guarantees or promises made that you will only deliver to residential units.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Operations Manager, Team Leads and Dispatchers.
- Use a hand-held computer device to deliver packages.
Skills and requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 100% Dependable, Reliable & Self-Manageable...Non-Negotiable.
- If you had problems showing up for work, on time, at previous jobs, do not apply. This position is highly sensitive to time constraints.
- Exceptional Team Player; Customer Focused.
- Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test.
- Criminal History - last 7-years will automatically disqualify your application.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (seldom).
- The ability to walk up flights of stairs.
- Review your Motor Vehicle Record. 4 points in the last 24-months will disqualify your application.
- Perform a minimum of 20 stops per hour; avg 3 min / stop (under idea road conditions).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
Work schedule:
- Start time: TBD (subject to change based on dispatch time).
- Weekly Pay: every Friday.
- Schedule: Company assigns the days that you work. Plan to commit to a 10-hour day; subject to change daily.
- Home every day.
- Overtime after 40 hours (time and a half).
- Three (3) months probationary period to assess performance - must achieve 20 stops per hour...avg 1 stop every 3 minutes...easily achievable...your Uncle Bubba can do this job.
Full-time: four days, plan to work at least 10 hour days; very flexible work schedules; will be assigned one weekend day as part of your four day work schedule.
Due to Station volume fluctuations, your work days/work hours will be adjusted to accommodate the Station's route/volume requirements.
Part-time/Seasonal: If you can contribute 1-to-3 days per week, we really want you to apply too.
