Rizzo’s on Transit Road | Banchetti on North French - Full-Time or Part-Time
Can you work a sauté pan, keep your cool during a rush, and somehow know exactly where the tongs disappeared to?
Rizzo’s on Transit Road is looking for a dependable, energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We serve the kind of Italian-American food people crave, and we need someone who takes pride in making it right every time.
This is a fast-paced kitchen where the tickets move, the team works together, and standing around staring at the printer is strongly discouraged.
What You’ll Be Cooking Up
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Set up your station so you’re ready when the rush hits
- Keep orders moving without sacrificing quality or presentation
- Handle prep, portioning, labeling, and product rotation
- Keep your station stocked, clean, and organized
- Communicate with the rest of the kitchen so every table gets its food together
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Help with opening, closing, and kitchen-cleaning duties
- Jump in wherever the team needs you
You Might Be a Great Fit If You

- Can follow recipes while working efficiently
- Have previous line-cook or restaurant experience

Experience with Italian or Italian-American cooking is a plus, but a strong work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to learn go a long way.

Compensation and Schedule
