The Bistro is open for daily for breakfast (6:30AM-10:30AM M-F, 7AM-11AM S-Su) and for dinner (5PM-10PM M-Su) to serve our hotel guests and the general public.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with professionalism in both bar and dining areas
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty beverages using proper techniques
- Manage Toast POS system to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while increasing sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Assist with catering events and banquets service as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, fine dining or banquet settings is highly desirable
- Proficiency with Toast POS system is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing and retail math accuracy
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local regulations
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekend hours
*Must obtain TABC and food handle certification within 30 days of hire*

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
