As a Trauma Surgeon, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical care to patients with traumatic injuries. You will work alongside a skilled medical team, ensuring that our surgical practices meet the highest standards.
- Perform surgical procedures for trauma patients effectively and efficiently

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans

Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients

Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations

Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Document all patient interactions and surgical outcomes accurately

Participate in emergency surgeries as required

Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and advancements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree

Current board certification in Trauma Surgery

Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina

Prior experience in trauma surgery preferred

Strong surgical skills and decision-making abilities

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts
Patient Volume: 35 per day, split between providers
Must be proficient with tube thoracostomy, central venous catheter placement, and arterial line placement
Support Staff: Surgeons, APPs, and residents
EMR: Cerner PowerChart
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
