We are currently seeking a Metal Finishing Technician to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for deburring, cleaning, assembling, and staging fabricated products for final inspection and shipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing a quality finished product and enjoys hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Deburr fabricated parts using pneumatic and electric hand tools.
- Clean, assemble, and stage completed products.
- Complete assigned work according to the production schedule.
- Maintain an organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
- Keep the work area clean at the end of each shift.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Dependable with a good work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Automotive body shop, metal fabrication, or similar hands-on experience is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions
- Air-conditioned fabrication shop.
- Safety-focused work environment.
- Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.
- Moderate to high noise environment.
- Some heavy lifting is required. Assistance and proper lifting equipment (including forklifts) are available when needed.
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
