We are looking for a Printing Press Operator for the Second Shift. The Second Shift times are Monday - Thursday from 3pm-1:30am. You must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Start presses and pull proofs to check for ink coverage and density, alignment, and registration;
- Examine job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors, or special printing instructions;
- Set up & operate automatic screen printing machines;
- Prepare shirts to be printed;
- Verify that ink meets the specifications for a given job;
- Remove shirts from press;
- Inspect shirts to ensure high quality and print;
- Monitor automated press operation systems and respond to fault, error, or alert messages;
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment;
- Ability to pay attention to detail;
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team; and
- Ability to follow directions.
