CNA Certified Caregiver – Live-In Position (5 Days On / 5 Days Off)
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Pay: $290 per day
Schedule: 5 consecutive days on, followed by 5 consecutive days off.
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional one-on-one care for a client in Carmel, Indiana. This position is ideal for a caregiver with extensive experience in dementia care and safe patient transfers.
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (required)
- Extensive experience with transfers, including gait belts and mobility assistance
- Strong dementia and Alzheimer’s care experience
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work history
- Must pass a background check and any required pre-employment screenings
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Safely assist with transfers and mobility
- Provide compassionate care for a client with dementia while maintaining a safe environment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition
- Offer companionship and emotional support
