Manage day-to-day customer order fulfillment functions and associated processes/procedures. Supply first-class service both internally, to all areas of the business, and to our external customers and suppliers. Work closely with inbound freight coordinators within the department to ensure efficiency. Manage departmental resources consisting of warehousing, bargaining unit employees and equipment. Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained. Identify systems requirements and maintains a high standard for safety and housekeeping.
EDUCATION: Associate degree
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-4 years of management experience within a warehouse setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains daily communication with other departments in the company to ensure orders are shipped within their compliance guidelines.
· Enforces company policies and the union collective bargaining contract, including administering discipline, participating in grievance processes and collaborating with HR on contract interpretation.
· Meet established shipping, receiving and warehouse schedules.
· Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
· Identify system requirements and work with our IT department to implement.
· Monitor workplace performance.
