Veterinary Receptionist

Position Overview
As the first and last point of contact for our clients, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for pets and their owners. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a compassionate attitude toward clients and patients alike.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets warmly by name and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Answer multi-line phones, emails, and client inquiries professionally
- Schedule appointments and manage the hospital calendar
- Process payments and explain invoices and hospital financial policies
- Maintain accurate patient and client records in the computer system
- Support veterinarians and technicians with daily administrative needs
- Maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area
- Assist with client education materials, reminders, and follow-up appointments
- Foster positive relationships with clients and team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Veterinary experience or knowledge of veterinary terminology preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
