Member Duties : Serve your community and develop your professional skills through a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA! In this hybrid position, the International Rescue Committee’s Operations and Development VISTA will build capacity by increase the IRC’s capacity by developing private-sector resources and strengthening internal policies and procedures to create a sustainable foundation for the future. The Member will do so developing new grant opportunities, designing and modeling new engagement and development procedures, coordinating and identifying areas for improvement in the Contributions in Kind (CIK) program, and strengthening policies and procedures around security and staff transitions. The right fit for this position will be self-driven and highly motivated individuals with a passion for serving their communities through capacity building efforts such as grant writing, development, and office operations.
