Job Type: Full-Time, (40 hours/week), Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Salary: $58,412 – $63,227

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for a candidate who can effectively manage this department. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all aspects of hiring; post job, review candidates, schedule and conduct interviews. Complete background and reference checks, offer job, perform all onboarding tasks
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinate employee training as needed
- Administer employee benefits programs, including insurances
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping of employee information, including personnel files, and payroll data
- Implement performance management processes to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback from departing employees and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices
- Complete HR reports such as ACA, internal staff reports, insurance census, EEOC
- Issue Cobra notices for former employees as well as employees who go on layoff
- Maintain compliance with regulations for daycare licensing, Head Start and AmeriCorps
- Responsible for FMLA, ADA, Worker's Compensation and Unemployment
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or prior experience in the HR profession
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Preferred:
- 2 years of experience in human resources management
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Flexible and detail oriented
