What You’ll Bring:
- Active Arizona SLP license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, ideally with both elementary and high school students
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support teams
- Organizational and documentation skills in keeping with school standards
- Passion for helping students achieve communication milestones
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in classrooms and one-on-one
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student growth and success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and relevant reports
- Support IEP meetings through progress updates and recommendations
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment that empowers students at all learning levels
