Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Handle cash and process cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in math calculations
- Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to support café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and uphold high service standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred, with a strong understanding of beverage preparation and serving techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
