Paragon provides a variety of Civil Engineering, Construction Administration & Inspection and Planning services to governmental agencies. We are a full-service engineering and planning company, focusing on the evaluation, planning, design, and construction of public infrastructure for projects involving highways & roadways, intersections & traffic signals, pedestrian facilities, storm drainage systems, domestic water & pressure irrigation distribution systems, municipal solid waste & C&D landfills, and other engineering services.
Employment Position Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer (PE or EIT) role based in Kuna, ID. The Civil Engineer will develop design plans and reports for public infrastructure projects, including site grading, roadways, pedestrian facilities, public utilities, and stormwater systems. Responsibilities will include preparing engineering calculations, designing and drafting construction drawings, and supporting project planning and permitting activities. The role involves coordinating with project managers, clients, and agencies, responding to review comments, and providing technical support during construction. The Civil Engineer will also assist with construction engineering and inspection duties, including site visits, ensuring construction is in accordance with the plans and specifications, reviewing test reports, processing contractor pay applications, etc.
Typical Duties:
- Manage, design, develop, create and maintain public infrastructure design projects
- Prepare plans using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Prepare specification and contract documents
- Prepare Engineering reports and feasibility studies
- Conduct calculations and construction quantity estimates
- Perform construction inspections and maintain construction contract paperwork
- Other duties based on experience and capabilities
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required for the all Civil Engineer positions. Candidates seeking an EIT position should have a minimum of two years of applicable experience. Candidates seeking a PE position should have five-years of relative experience and must hold an Idaho Professional Engineers license.

Salary Range:
· EIT - $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
· PE - $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
· Quarterly Bonus opportunities for all Civil Engineer positions

Work Schedule and Location:
Civil Engineer positions are in person positions based out of our Kuna, Idaho office. Paragon offers flexible work hours with typical 8-hour shifts, Monday thru Friday. Some projects and duties, such as construction inspection, may require atypical work schedules.
