This energetic position offers the opportunity to ensure seamless sales benefits processes, support patients well-being, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. As a Benefits Coordinator, you will earn base pay and commissions. Bilingual is a must.
Responsibilities
- Administer patient benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with patient and labor laws by staying current on regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and Medicare requirements.
- Manage patient benefits enrollment processes
- Handle inquiries from patients regarding benefits plans with clear communication skills and professionalism.
- Maintain detailed records of patient benefits, data analysis to identify trends or discrepancies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Medicare benefits administration processes.
- Sales experience is a must.
- Familiarity with laws such as HIPAA, and Medicare compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex benefit options and policies to diverse patient audiences.
- Proven negotiation skills for vendor management and contract review related to benefits offerings.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
