Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is a nonprofit organization serving children and families across Oregon through early education and family support programs. At OCDC, our work has purpose. Network Tech works with the other IT staff to maintain the Agency's information systems and resources. Tasks include daily maintenance of all systems including but not limited to: operating systems, networking, and applications support. Network Tech is part of the help desk to support of systems within the Agency.
Assists in maintenance and enhancement information systems and practices by:
- Investigating complaints and concerns by end-users and manager regarding both local and wide area networks, software applications, and hardware issues.
Assists in maintenance of security by:
- Keeping information confidential
Assists with satisfaction of Agency information management needs by:
- Working closely within a team effort
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by:
- Attending educational workshops
- Reviewing professional literature and publications
- Participating in professional societies
Assists in maintenance Agency's systems, programs and applications by:
- Assisting in installation and support of all Agency authorized software: Web-Based Applications, Attendance, Microsoft products and financial systems (Abra, Fundware).
- One-year related experience.
OR
- Combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Ability to travel frequently overnight.
- Some weekends and overtime required.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, TCP/IP Networking (including internet and intranet technologies), Citrix Terminal Server Software, Database Management and the ability to enhance one's knowledge of these items.
The pay range for this position is $18.94 to $23.65 hourly. Placement within the range is determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
