Position Summary
Sherle Wagner International is seeking a skilled Polisher to join our luxury manufacturing team. The Polisher is responsible for producing exceptional cosmetic finishes on premium brass, bronze, stainless steel, and other decorative components used in luxury plumbing fixtures, hardware, and accessories. This role requires outstanding attention to detail, craftsmanship, and pride in producing products that meet Sherle Wagner's world-renowned quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Polish and buff brass, bronze, stainless steel, and other metal components to achieve luxury-quality finishes.
- Prepare parts for plating, PVD, lacquer, and specialty decorative finishes.
- Remove machining marks, scratches, pits, casting imperfections, and surface defects.
- Use polishing equipment including:
- Bench polishers
- Buffing wheels
- Hand polishers
- Die grinders
- Sanding and abrasive equipment
- Select proper polishing compounds, abrasives, and buffing wheels based on material and finish requirements.
- Inspect finished components for cosmetic quality using company standards.
- Maintain consistent surface finish across production batches.
- Handle delicate and high-value components carefully to prevent damage.
- Work closely with Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Plating departments to resolve cosmetic issues.
- Maintain production schedules while meeting quality expectations.
- Keep work area organized and follow 5S principles.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist in training new polishing employees when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of polishing experience in manufacturing.
- Experience polishing:
- Brass
- Bronze
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminum (preferred)
- Ability to identify cosmetic defects before finishing.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read work orders and manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
