We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Kent, WA. We are looking for someone safety and accuracy driven with a talent for everything mechanical! - Electrical troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving technical problems.
- Specialist in Electrical, Mechanical, PLC or Refrigeration.
- Hands on practical test of Electrical, Mechanical, PLC or Refrigeration.
- Follow and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, such as Lock out/Tag out, Confined
- Answer radio calls
- Assist at all times with keeping the plant running as smooth as possible while working on PM and maintenance projects
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment scheduled through PMC.
Skills & Requirements Position Qualifications:
- Two or more years of technical training or equivalent
- Two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Able to weld steel, stainless steel and sanitary weld helpful. MIG, TIG
- Knowledge of basic tools used in bakery production environment
- Knowledge of drive chains, sprockets, conveyor belt splicing
- Able to read and interpret manuals and technical drawings
- Forklift certification, sit down, standup, aerial, and pallet jack.
- Observance and verbal testing of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to pass level A Maintenance Mechanic skills test
Physical Requirements:
- Able to tolerate dusty and wet conditions and occasional exposure to Zero degree temperatures
- Medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
