Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our Brooklyn-based Spa. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans, ensuring a positive and rejuvenating experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and patient feedback
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and CPR protocols
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns promptly
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification
- Experience in massage therapy
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- CPR certification is required for emergency preparedness
- Prior experience working with diverse populations and delivering exceptional customer service is highly valued
$50 per massage (not including tips), $17.50 hourly otherwise.
6 Hour Shifts.
Pay: $17.50 - $50.00 per hour
