The Hostler Driver/Ground position at Parsec LLC.'s intermodal rail transportation department is responsible for directing the crane operators and safely and efficiently operating a hostler truck while loading and unloading cargo containers.

Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a hostler driver, or similar role, within the intermodal rail or transportation industry (preferred)
Qualifications
- Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must comply with established safety rules, policies, and procedures, including wearing required safety equipment
- Pass pre-employment checks: criminal background checks, drug screening, and physical exam
- Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
- Able to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl to access equipment and maintain safety
- Must have open availability to work any needed shift and weekends.
- Employees are subject to a shift change every six months.
The following schedules are seniority-based:
- 12:15 AM-8:45 AM
- 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM
- 4:15 PM-12:30 AM
*Once certified as a driver, mandatory overtime is given based on operational demand.
