Midvale Golf and Country Club is a premier private club in the Rochester area, offering exceptional service and amenities to our members and their guests. Our clubhouse team plays a vital role in delivering a welcoming and elevated experience. We’re currently looking for an experienced, personable, and professional Bartender to join our food and beverage team.
Job Summary:
As a bartender at Midvale, you’ll create memorable experiences for our members and their guests by providing outstanding beverage service with efficiency, flair, and attention to detail. You'll work in both formal and casual settings, including the clubhouse bar, outdoor events, weddings, and private functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Interact with members and guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Monitor member satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Follow club recipes, procedures, and responsible alcohol service protocols
- Set up and break down bar stations for daily service and events
- Assist with inventory control and restocking as needed
- Collaborate with the clubhouse and banquet team for smooth service delivery
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience in a club, hotel, or upscale restaurant preferred
- Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be 18 years or older and possess any required state/county bartending certifications
