Pryntsev Ballet Academy is looking for someone to join our team for the new season starting August 24!
We're looking for a dance instructor who can teach contemporary, modern, jazz, and/or acro. Being versatile across a few styles is ideal, but if you specialize in one or two, we'd still love to hear from you.
We don't have a fixed schedule yet, so the number of classes and weekly hours are flexible. When you apply, just tell us your weekly availability and the styles you teach, and we'll build from there. More classes and rehearsals may open up as we grow.
Qualifications:
- Education in dance or professional experience as a dancer
- Proper technique in one or more of the styles above
- Ballet technique a plus
- Experience teaching dance, ages 7-12
- High energy, positive, and motivating to students
Responsibilities:
- Run classes and lead students through combinations
- Push students technically and creatively
- Communicate with parents
- Keep accurate attendance records
- Run rehearsals when needed
