We are looking to hire an Inventory Control Specialist whose duties will include managing accounting records, evaluating, and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
This is a hands-on management level position that requires understanding the business and working with all levels within the company. Knowing the products and company functions are crucial to the role. Building strong relationships with fellow employees and external business partners is key.
This position will be required to come in the office daily! It is not a remote position.
Duties & Activities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for materials
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Enter inventory transactions accurately into the company's ERP or inventory management system.
- Verify receipts of incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notify management when stock reaches reorder points.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Work closely with production to verify material usage and identify inventory variances.
- Generate inventory reports and analyze inventory trends.
- Help identify obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving inventory.
- Assist with transferring inventory between warehouse locations as needed.
- Ensure inventory records comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain organized documentation for inventory adjustments and transactions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial management.
- Strategic planning and vision.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Experience in financial reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
