POSITION DESCRIPTION
A Project Foreman at SET Environmental is responsible for:
- Leading a crew on both scheduled and emergency response-based projects
- Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to SET safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards
- Ensuring client expectations are exceeded
- Coordination of equipment and supplies for project needs
- The support of various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
- Confined Space Entry – CSE
- Environmental remediation
- Waterway response
- Hazardous materials clean up
- Will perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years verifiable industry experience
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
- Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to respond to out-of-town projects as needed
- Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
- Basic chemical knowledge
- Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening
- Valid Driver’s License with clean record that meets SET insurance requirements
