Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservation systems is a plus.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive guest relations and teamwork among staff members.
