Duties
- Safely operate box trucks to deliver pianos and other large items across designated routes
- Load, unload, and secure musical instruments using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment.
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during route driving and delivery operations
- Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material handling, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate delivery times, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience
- Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage, utilizing safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky objects
- Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update routes, and complete required paperwork accurately
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and manual handling
- Familiarity with box trucks, and material handling equipment operation
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a friendly professional interaction during deliveries
- Ability to adhere strictly to route schedules while maintaining flexibility for unexpected changes
- Comfortable using mobile devices for communication, navigation, and documentation purposes
