Our company is looking for talented individuals to join our friendly and energetic team. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional with experience working in a restaurant setting, with personal or professional baking experience, that is detail oriented and is able to work as part of a team or on their own. This position is perfect for someone who values verity in their work day/week as it will require working shifts as a baker, perp cook, and line cook as needed.
Responsibilities:
Core responsibilities:
- Prepare Tea sets and cafe items as ordered on the line
- Open and close the expo station/kitchen as directed
- Learn to prepare all menu items items, including pastry
- Assist in the execution of catering orders as needed
- Other duties as assigned
When business is too slow to support a dishwasher:
- Wash china (teapots, teacups, strainers) and kitchen tools (occasionally by hand)
- Sort and stack clean dishes into the china closet
- Transfer clean dishes to the proper storage areas
- Setup and/or break-down dishwashing area
Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Can stand on feet for extended periods of time.
- Work in small spaces.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with other team members.
- Keep a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to/from work
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
