Position Overview:
We are urgently hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our precision machining team. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating Swiss-style CNC lathes and producing high-quality machined components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
If you have experience as a Swiss Machine Operator, CNC Lathe Operator, Machinist, Equipment Operator, or have worked in a precision machining or warehouse/manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate Swiss-style CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
- Utilize Fanuc, Haas, and Okuma CNC controls to perform machining operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Set up and run jobs from established programs and print drawings.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify specifications and tolerances.
- Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments as needed.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Meet daily production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
Requirements:
- Experience operating Swiss CNC machines strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a Swiss Machine Operator, CNC Lathe Operator, Machine Operator, Equipment Operator, or similar manufacturing role.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Okuma controls preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machining issues and make basic machine adjustments.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
Physical Demands:
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
Expected hours: 40 per week
