GPC operates a plant in Dallas, TX and serves customers in the DFW metro area and surrounding cities. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for in-town driving with very competitive pay. Type of deliveries:
Loads carried in enclosed van trailer or a flat bed requiring driver to strap (no tarp) the load
Job Duties:
- Operate a tractor or bobtail safely and efficiently
- Deliver product to local customers in the greater Houston Metroplex
- Strap and secure loads to a flatbed trailer
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude
- Keep up with ELD (electronic logging device)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience preferred (and verifiable)
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)- CLASS A
- Must pass background check
- No serious or disqualifying traffic violations in the last 5 years
- Must have valid and active medical card
- Friendly and dependable
