Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and small-group academic support in reading, writing, mathematics, and other subject areas.
- Reinforce classroom instruction and help students practice and apply new skills.
- Support teachers with classroom activities, learning centers, projects, and daily routines.
- Help students stay organized, focused, and engaged in their learning.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.
- Prepare instructional materials and support classroom organization as needed.
- Build positive relationships with students while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
Qualifications
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- A genuine interest in helping children learn and grow.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
