Duties
- Operate cash registers accurately, handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with precision.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales.
- Maintain knowledge of store merchandise, including stock levels and merchandising standards, to assist customers effectively.
- Support stock replenishment and merchandising efforts to ensure the sales floor remains inviting and well-organized.
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process payments, returns, and exchanges while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or providing information remotely.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash drawer at shift end.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math concepts such as pricing, discounts, and inventory counts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store confidently, and perform stocking or merchandising tasks as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers.
- Knowledge of retail store product lines or experience conducting product demos is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
