We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting activities of multiple manufacturing and distribution business units while supervising shared Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this position is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Assistant Controller who is ready to expand their leadership responsibilities while remaining actively involved in day-to-day accounting.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations for assigned business units.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with monthly close and financial reporting.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Review payroll accounting and sales tax filings.
- Assist with commissions, customer rebates, and intercompany accounting.
- Supervise AP and AR staff and help establish priorities.
- Improve accounting procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
- Support the Corporate Controller with special projects and financial analysis.

Qualifications
Required
- Associate's degree in Accounting (minimum required).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum four years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred
- Manufacturing accounting experience.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring accounting staff.
- QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.
- ERP experience (Infor SyteLine preferred).
- Inventory accounting.
- Sales tax compliance.
- Multi-company accounting.
