Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Process payments swiftly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with POS systems like OpenTable integration
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling, serving areas, and dining spaces
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
- Serving or host/hostess experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for food industry roles is essential
