Under limited supervision, candidate must have knowledge of building construction and maintenance as follows: Ability to construct building frameworks including wall studs, floor joists, windows and door frames; familiar with installing and work on fixtures, plumbing and electrical; be able to measure, cut or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall and other materials; use power tools accurately and safely; work on top of ladders, beams and buildings; have knowledge of two-way radio; follow oral and written instructions; able to perform mathematical calculations accurately and quickly; and be self-motivated, able to learn duties and get work done quickly and efficiently. Having knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing would be a plus but not necessary. Candidate reports to the Building Maintenance Supervisor. Minimum Requirements: Valid state driver’s license.
