Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager / Supervisor to lead and oversee our warehouse operations for a major perfume company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of products from storage to shipment. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on efficiency, safety, and teamwork to keep operations running at the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
- Maintain accurate inventory control, including regular cycle counts and audits to minimize discrepancies
- Manage and supervise warehouse associates, monitoring performance and providing ongoing training and support
- Establish and enforce warehouse practices and protocols to maintain an efficient operation
- Collaborate with executive management and team leads to set warehouse and team goals
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Monitor performance metrics and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure safe use of warehouse equipment (forklift experience strongly preferred)
- Communicate effectively with other departments to align on shipping timelines and customer commitments
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving functions
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse environments
