Overview
We are seeking an experienced Car and Light‑Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently in a busy shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gas and light‑duty truck systems
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Maintain accurate repair documentation
- Follow all safety and shop procedures
Qualifications
- Automotive technology training or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of engine, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- EPA 609 certification a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
