Job Overview:
As a member of our culinary team, you will assist Chefs and Sous Chefs in preparing high-quality entrées, maintaining proper portion sizes, and ensuring food is safely stored and prepared to club standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and marinating

Prepare soups, salads, and sauces as directed

Plate and garnish meals following Chef or Sous Chef instructions

Complete assigned prep and cooking tasks efficiently and on time

Stock cooking stations with necessary ingredients and tools

Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment before and after shifts

Follow proper food rotation practices to minimize waste and contamination

Inspect incoming food supplies for quality and freshness
Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Minimum 2 years of culinary experience required

Strong knowledge of food safety and cooking techniques

Ability to work in a hot, humid, fast-paced kitchen environment

Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions

May be required to speak publicly during team meetings or events

Associate’s degree in culinary arts preferred
