POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to a diverse patient population ranging from children through adults.
The PMHNP will be responsible for psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, follow-up care, and addressing same-day and crisis appointments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of behavioral health and psychiatric conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up and medication management
- Provide care to pediatric through adult patients
- Address same-day and crisis appointments as needed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans and medications
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of PMHNP experience
- Active PMHNP license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
- Must meet all facility credentialing and compliance requirements
