Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and meal preparation.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or memory impairments through tailored activities and compassionate engagement.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, vital signs, and observations while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Uphold infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
Experience/Skills
- Experience in caregiving.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in vital signs.
- Familiarity with systems that support individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform tasks independently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their dignity and independence.
- CPR & First Aid certified.
