CAD drafter will utilize computer-aided design systems to create technical drawings for architectural glass products.

HS Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or above preferred

Prefer previous experience in the glass industry

Auto-CAD (2005 or later) training certificate or two years of verified work experience from previous employer(s)

Must possess the ability to read and interpret contract drawings and customer sketches as well as ability to create and modify drawings in CAD/CAM software.

Must have a high mathematics and logical aptitude, especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure

Accuracy in data entry

Interpret and enter sketches to be produced by CNC operators

Enter numbers into computer system. sort paperwork by description and size, make production notes, print labels, and distributre paperwork to production

Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions
